Welcome back to the Weekly Pink, ladies and gentlemen! I know it's been a very long time, but here are some summer updates.

We are halfway through summer! The NBJG Monster Mile is also this Thursday. The junior guards also ran to the Wedge and swam all the way around the pier, too! The theme of the Monster Mile this year is American Heroes, because America just celebrated its 250th birthday (that's a long time!)

The World Cup Finals is happening this Sunday, Spain versus Argentina. Spain beat France in the semifinals 2–0, and Argentina beat England 2–1. Unfortunately, the US was out several games ago, beat by Belgium 4–1.

Several new movies are showing soon or are currently in theaters, including Toy Story 5, which I've seen, and it's very good and super funny. The live action Moana is also coming soon, starring the Rock as Maui again! Minions and Monsters will be the third installment in the Minions spin-off series off Despicable Me, coming soon.
